Prince Charles to meet Aberystwyth flooding victims

The aftermath of floods at the Riverside caravan park near Llandre, Aberystwyth The owner of Riverside caravan park near Llandre, Aberystwyth, says he has already spent £100,000 on the clean up of the site

Victims of severe flooding in mid Wales last month are set to meet the Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall on the royal couple's summer tour of Wales.
The June floods forced hundreds from their homes, and 150 were rescued.
Prince Charles made a donation to help victims ahead of his four-day visit, starting on Monday.
He will also visit his son William at RAF Valley, Anglesey, where the Duke of Cambridge recently qualified as a search and rescue captain.
"He ought to come and have a look because the site was absolutely devastated," he said.
"We've received nothing. We got the site open last Saturday to a limited degree but we're working on it every day trying to get it done."
He said he had already spent about £100,000 on the clean-up and would probably end up spending the same amount again before it was back to normal.
The prince and his wife are travelling the length and breadth of Wales over four days as part of the summer tour, starting on Monday with a service of thanksgiving at St Asaph Cathedral to celebrate St Asaph's new city status.
They will also officially open Bodnant Welsh Food Centre in the Conwy Valley before the prince moves on to RAF Valley.
He will meet the station commander and search and rescue crews during the visit, including his son who will show him one of the Sea King helicopters and the operations room.

Prince William serves with No 22 Squadron at RAF Valley. He had been serving as a co-pilot but has now qualified as a captain.
The Queen visited Prince William at the base in April last year where he told his grandmother about his work as a search and rescue pilot.
Prince Charles's other tour engagements include Brecon Cathedral, Powys, on Tuesday, a food market in Aberaeron, Ceredigion, on Wednesday and the Felinfoel Brewery, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, on Thursday.
A Clarence House spokeswoman said: "Promoting Welsh food and local sourcing is a key theme for this year's summer visit to Wales by the Prince of Wales and the duchess.
"They are both keen to support Welsh food and Welsh-run family firms."
