Tom Cruise and wife Katie ends 5years marriage

 

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting divorced after 5 years of marriage. Katie’s attorney, Jonathan Wolfe released a statement saying, “This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family.”
Wolfe adds, “Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”
It’s unclear if divorce papers have been filed.
Cruise’s reps have also confirmed the news when they issued statement on Friday. ‘Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy’, the statement released via Gossip Cop read. Tom Cruise was seen in 2005 jumping on Oprah’s couch to express his love for Katie; the couple who started dating in 2005 got engaged in Paris and married in November 2006. Suri is their only child.
